Courses Offered

Currently, NIT Delhi offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programs in 3 disciplines. They include:

1. Computer Science and Engineering

2. Electronics and Communication Engineering

3. Electrical Engineering

NIT Delhi also offers M.Tech.  in ECE, CSE, Mechanical Engineering and Applied Sciences. NIT Delhi also offers Ph.D. programs in various fields of engineering and basic sciences.

Admissions

The admissions to B.Tech courses are based on JEE-Main ranks. There is a reservation of 50% for the students hailing from the home state.

Admissions to  M.Tech programs are via the GATE exam conducted by the IITs and IISc. The postgraduate admission is on the basis of research and interviews by appropriate screening committees.

Placements

The Training & Placement Cell collaborates with leading organizations for setting up internship and training programs for students. The Office interacts with many companies/industries in the country, of which nearly 50 companies visit the campus for holding campus interviews. The students have bagged offers from various leading sections of the industry such as Cloud Telephony, IT Services, Analytics, Software Services, Banking IT Services, Mobile R&D, E- Commerce, Apps and many more.

Facilities

1. NIT Delhi has 2 boys’ hostels and 2 girls’ hostels with mess facility providing hygienic food.

2. The college has a sports department with arrangements for several indoor and outdoor games. Indoor games include badminton, table tennis, carom and chess. Outdoor games include cricket, football and basketball. There are grounds for football and volleyball along with a cricket pitch and basketball court.

3. NIT Delhi has several cultural and sporting clubs, and organisations functioning within the campus. Saptrang, the institute's cultural festival, is a day-long event held at NIT Delhi.
